I have been in the hairdressing industry for over 16 years. Initially gaining my level 1&2 through an apprenticeship and then later went on to achieve my level 3. I also had the privilege of working 2 contracts at sea onboard ships with Royal Caribbean International, improving my skill even more. Once retuning to the UK, i joined Strand as a Style Director and now as a Salon Manager. I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing and love to make people feel better with a fresh colour or style. I love to see the transformation of a big colour change or a restyle, but my favourite has to be hair up. I thrive in creating an amazing style for any special occasion. Brides, I'm your girl! I am the proud owner and Artistic Director of Strand. I have spent the last 14 years progressing my skills in hairdressing and working my way up in the industry within various well-established salons. Hairdressing is a skill I am very passionate about and I thrive being able to work as part of a varied team in a busy environment. I specialise in Creative colour, colour correction, creative foiling and balayage. Colouring is my passion and I try hard to create an individual look for each client. I truly believe a hairdresser never stops learning, so I’m always keen further my skills and knowledge to ensure my clients receive the best service. As an owner it is my goal to provide the best possible experience from start to finish, to every client who enters our salon. I will strive to ensure every visit, is a pleasurable one. My Names Hannah. E, my hairdressing career started when I was at school during my work experience in salon. Since then I have developed my career to Saturday girl, Apprentice, Stylist into a Senior Stylist and now a Style Director. During this time, I have qualified with my NVQ level 1, 2 and 3 through college also I have graduated through GHD with a styling degree. My favourite aspect of hairdressing is to create hair up styles especially for clients on their wedding day. Also, I have a passion for creative colouring and different colour placements to achieve a unique style for individual clients. I absolutely love advising clients on how to style and manage their hair at home themselves as I feel this is very important for the client to love their hair not only on the days they enter the salon but every day! Style Director
My name is Charlotte and I started working at Strand in June 2018 as a Senior Stylist full time. I started my hairdressing career straight after leaving school with an apprenticeship where I was a salon junior and have now been qualified at NVQ Levels 1&2 for over 10 years. Since then I have completed additional training with Creative Colouring and Creative Cutting courses. I love all aspects of hairdressing but especially blow drying, my favourite cut to do is a graduated bob. My specialist area is in Balayage, Ombre and Creative Colouring. I have been fortunate enough to work in some modern, busy salons which has prepared me for working at Strand where there is a very large client base. I found my passion for hairdressing during my work experience at school. I knew that I wanted to work within the hair industry and went on to complete my apprenticeship level 1,2&3 within a local salon and have never looked back. I love all aspects of hairdressing, but my favourite service has to be Creative Colour, I love all things baby-lights and balayage! Hi my name is Olivia, I have been in the hairdressing industry for the last 15 years. I started my career as a Saturday girl while I was at school and then moving on to achieving my NVQ Levels 1, 2 & 3 in college. My passion is 'all things hair'. I especially enjoy the creative side as I love experimenting and learning new techniques and trends. I have been fortunate enough to have worked in very busy salons in and around the home counties and I have had the incredible opportunities to take part in creating hair styles for numerous fashion shows previously, and I really enjoy the buzz and the challenge that they bring. I thrive in busy environments and taking on challenges. So with that I'm really excited to begin my new venture at Strand, and can't wait to meet you all. I started hairdressing at high school, completing my level 1 as part of my chosen subjects. During this time, I was a Saturday girl within a busy local salon and progressed into an apprenticeship, completing my level 2 & 3. Whilst training I won apprentice of the year and got into the Wella reginal finals colour competition. I have been working as a senior stylist within salons in the past 9 years. I started my hairdressing journey as an apprentice in a popular Luton salon and worked up from a Rising Star to a Stylist and now a Senior Stylist here at Strand. I love all types of colouring from highlights, tints to balayage. I enjoy cutting all types of styles, however my favourite has to be short hair and graduated bobs. I am passionate about what i do and am constantly inspired to keep offering the best possible service i can to my clients. My name is Lisa and I started at Strand in April 2016 as a Stylist. I now work as Front of House mid week, and as a Stylist, offering hairdressing services on a Wednesday and Saturday. I started hairdressing at the age of 14, so have been in the industry for over 30 years. This began in a Saturday job position which then led me on to an apprenticeship. I have been qualified now for over 25 years at NVQ Levels 1&2. Throughout my career I have completed extra courses in Barbering and GHD. My favourite aspect of the job is working on short hair cuts, giving texture, volume and fashion cuts. As well as this I love creating a restyle, seeing the change from the beginning to end result and making the client feel better about themselves.
